The Upper Valley Home Energy Action Team, or UV-HEAT, is a home weatherization initiative we developed and implemented along with two other Upper Valley non-profits, COVER Home Repair and Sustainable Energy Resource Group. This collaboration has now expanded to include Upper Valley Habitat for Humanity. We created a website which provides "one stop shopping" for information for residents looking to increase energy efficiency in their homes. The UV-HEAT collaboration also produces educational materials, holds employee and community workshops, and works to get the word out about the importance of home weatherization as a way to keep workforce housing affordable.

We are now working with our collaborators to design and implement focused weatherization "pushes" in selected communities. We plan to continue the educational component with revised materials and a home energy component of our "Lunch and Learn" sessions.
